Something Left, Something Taken

Hey there! Pardon the little break. I thought I could start the week with this “animated dark comedy about a vacationing couple’s encounter with a man they believe to be the Zodiac Killer.” I guess that happens at least once to everyone of us.

Something Left, Something Taken is an awesome and crafty animated short film created by Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata AKA Tiny Inventions. Be warned: every time you’ll blink your eyes, you lose something cool.

JAVIER CHILLON – Die Schneider Krankheit

“The Fifties, a Soviet space shuttle crashes in West Germany. The only passenger, a cosmonaut chimpanzee, spreads a deadly virus all over the country…” This amazing documentary by Überblick Films follows humanity’s struggle to find a cure and survive.

No need to say that Die Schneider Krankheit (The Schneider disease) is actually a mockumentary, and none of the images in the film are archival footage. But I’ll say it, just to be sure…

The short film has been written, produced and directed by Javier Chillon.

Elave: Nothing to Hide

Warning: frontal nudity.

I guess this commercial would win the “being too literal” award if there was one. Notice how, while the woman delivers the tagline at the very end, in the background a guy is actually hiding something…
The spot was directed by Brendan Donovan and produced at Prodigy Films. Post production made at Images & [...]
