Lost Below is a short animation by Mato Atom from some years ago, whose fascination resides partly in its undetermination: even though the matter of the film it’s not apparent, one seems to grasp it in an almost unconscious way.

Metem: Despite of Opinions EP Promo

Lesson number one: Anatomy of a song.

The video is a promo for the new EP by Metem, entitled Despite of Opinions. It also serves as a trailer for the presentation of the EP which will be held in Rome this Saturday.

The video has been crafted by Daniele Napolitano and the other fine guys at CUT on original drawings by Govert Bidloo. You might remember Metem as the authors of the song in Notte Sento.

Pivot

When a man is witness to a murder and takes pictures of the killer, he has to run for his life. During the chase he is able to turn the tables and the prey becomes the hunter.

Rendered in an extremely stylized low polygon fashion, Pivot is a short film where every personal story comes to its natural end which also is the natural beginning of somebody else story.

The film was designed and animated by: Kevin Megens, Floris Vos, Arno de Grijs, André Bergs. Music and sound design by Alex Debicki. Script by Jan Eduards.

“Misfortune fell on us… They came from above!” The Earth is once again invaded by unfriendly aliens in a fashion that reminds of the more recent Ataque de Pánico! Youtube sensation.

Geweldenaren van Ver (Tyrants from Afar) is a “visual effects extravaganza”, “a tribute to science fiction films from the fifties and a reaction to the exaggerated patriotic character of recent american blockbusters.”
