The Lady and the Reaper (La dama y la muerte)

This funny short film deals with “an elderly woman’s life and death struggle, as she finds herself pitted in the middle of an egotistical battle between the grim reaper and a young doctor determined to keep her alive by any means necessary.”

The film has been written and directed by Javier Recio Gracia and produced at Kandor Moon.

The Bronson Maneuver

Preston Hall is Bronson. Who is Bronson? Well, mix James Bond, Lupin the Third and Mister Bean, and you’ll have a glance of the idea. Now, who is Preston Hall?

The short was an entry in CG Challenge XXIV, themed Secret Agent.

The film is the work of Ryan Sluman, Joon Kim, Danny Dahlquist and Mike McCain. Featuring Wein, Weib und Gesang (Wine, Women and Song), op. 333 by Johann Strauss II.

TAKEUCHI TAIJIN – Stop Motion with Wolf and Pig

Fight for the things you love. Run after them, do all you can to get their very heart. And in the end you and them will be one and only thing.

This amazing stop animated short film is the work of Takeuchi Taijin: photos are shot, rearranged to compose the frame, and then photographed again.

I’m using the word photomation to point out those shorts that use this same technique, like PEN Story and Photo Finish.
