This was a school project by Vincent Houzé‘ (Master M2: Arts et Technologies de l’image), and is the follow up to a Maya audio plugin. The author says: “Excepted for the camera, all animations are procedural, driven by the audio (which I made), mathematical expressions, or dynamic simulations. It has entirely been done in Houdini. It was planned initially twice as long, and I hope to continue it in the future.” BONUS: Here is the paper that Vincent wrote to accompany it (French only). |
Una macchina evolve al suono della musica.
Progetto scolastico di Vincent Houzé‘ (Master M2: Arts et Technologies de l’image), che fa seguito ad un suo plugin audio per Maya. Dice l’autore: “Tranne i movimenti di camera, tutto è procedurale, guidato dall’audio (realizzato da me), espressioni matematiche o simulazioni dinamiche. Il tutto è realizzato in Houdini. Inizialmente, doveva durare il doppio, ma spero di completarlo in futuro.” BONUS: Qui c’è la documentazione scritta da Vincent per il film (solo in francese). |
