The Helen Bamber Foundation: Lost in Fucking Translation - MPEG-4 clip
The Helen Bamber Foundation is “a UK based human rights organisation, formed in April 2005 to help rebuild lives and inspire a new self-esteem in survivors of gross human rights violations.”

I guess the only problem with this ad is that it results awkwardly funny, like a candid camera of sorts, which is in contraast with the cinematical setup. Don’t know if this effect was intended. Probably not.

The spot was directed and edited by Kevin Chicken at Quiet Storm Films. Creative: Neal Colyer.

 La Fondazione Helen Bamber è “una organizzazione britannica per i diritti umani, formata nell’aprile 2005 per aiutare a ricostruire le vite e l’autostima dei sopravvissuti a violazioni dei diritti umani.”

Credo che l’unico problema con questo spot sia che risulta divertente in maniera imbarazzante, tipo candid camera, in contrasto con il piglio cinematografico. Non sono molto sicuro che sia voluta, la cosa.

    I think it works well if related to the Monty Python’s sketch about the hungarian/english dictionary. There is the same idea on the background but the contrast between the fun in the original one and the drama in this is very strong.
