LFO – Freak

This is going to make you freak.

In a Chinese school, a group of girls put their teacher in the toilet and start to get freaky…

There are several similarities between this vid and the works of Chris Cunningham. Check out Come on my Selector. Also, the fight scene reminds me of Floria’s clip for Vaka. But, in my opinion, it has its own “reason to exist”. If you don’t agree, just jump to the next…

LFO (Low Frequency Oscillation) is an English techno group signed on the Warp Records label. Actually, it is a group with only one member, Mark Bell, while he formerly made a duo with Gez Varley.

Freak is a single released in August 2003 for Warp Records, produced and written by Mark Bell.

The clip has been directed by Daniel Levi and produced at Smuggler. Daniel Levi is currently signed at Independent, Les Télécréateurs and Neon Neon.

In una scuola cinese, un gruppo di ragazze chiude l’insegnante in bagno e se ne esce di testa!

Ci sono diverse somiglianze fra questo video e l’opera di Chris Cunningham. CFR: Come on my Selector.

Hey there! You don’t know me, but i’ve been visiting your blog for a while now and i love your posts.
I was just wondering, though, if you know anything about Jump Trump Rump Bump by Heui Won Jeong & Justin Murphy or how to find the full version. Being always somewhere between Portugal and Ireland, it’s impossible for me to attend any festivals that have shown this movie, but i’d love to be able to watch it.
Also, do you know any of Abi Feijó’s animations? He’s a teacher in my brother’s college, so i was also able to contact him on the impossibility of finding any of his stuff online, but apparently this is due to the copyrights, which he’s sold to a private company. I was just wondering if you happen to have any of his stuff as well.
Anyway – very long comment! Basically, keep up the great work!

I searched for JumpTrumpRumpBump, but the only things I’ve found are one author’s website:

    http://www.eciad.ca/~jmurphy/

and a guy who shares a couple of short clips from the movie:

I’ll keep both eyes open for it, since it looks very interesting.

For Abi Feijó’s works, I’ll ask for them to my whole bunch of “pushers”, after the holidays.
I should be able to post “Os salteadores”, most likely on Ticklebooth than here.

Thanks for your comment, Joana. The longer the better!

For that matter I still find “Come to Daddy” more disturbing. I can’t believe those kids are just wearing a mask!

Thanks for the effort, Dek! It’s good to know there are people like you in the world, who care so much about animation. :-)
