| Chocolate is sometimes seen as a substitute for sex. But in this music video (for a particularly ambiguous song) it is something more. A metaphore? And fondness for chocolate is just the wish to leave out inhibitions? Don’t know, but this is a very cool video!
Olivia Ruiz is a French singer. La femme chocolat is featured on the album with the same name, released on November 2005. The clip has been directed by Valerie Pirson at Partizan. She joined Partizan just weeks after completing her degree course in Visual and Graphic Arts at Ensad in Paris. She produced various animation sequences for the next feature film of Michel Gondry, The Science of Sleep. He hired Valerie on the basis of her graduation piece Pistache. |
Il cioccolato è spesso visto come succedaneo del sesso. Ma in questo video (per una canzone particolarmente allusiva) è qualcosa di più. Una metafora? E la golosità sarebbe quindi il desiderio di liberarsi delle proprie inibizioni? Non lo so, però il video è bello!
Olivia Ruiz è una cantante francese. La femme chocolat si trova sull’album omonimo uscito nel novembre del 2005. La clip è stata diretta da Valerie Pirson presso Partizan, dove è stata assunta poche settimane dopo aver completato il corso in Arti grafiche e visive presso l’Ensad di Parigi. Ha prodotto diverse sequenze animate per The Science of Sleep, il prossimo film di Michel Gondry, che l’ha ingaggiata sulla base del suo progetto di laurea, Pistache. |
