A N-E-O R-E-P-L-Y
| A short movie which proves how you can achieve big-screen quality even on a low budget.
The plot revolves around the obsessive search of a National Security agent for a faceless, nameless criminal: he only has two words in a notebook (P-R-E-Y A-L-O-N-E) and an unhelpful witness from a military prison. (Source: Bubblewap) This 15 minute feature was shot entirely on green screen and was written and directed by Steven St. Leger and James Mather. Jonathan Ridge (AKA Jonny 3D) was the lead 3D animator and compositor. The cast includes: Ger Carey, Andy Moore and Kurt Savage. The only things that are real are the actors and a few set props. Everything else is entirely 3D. You may want to watch these before and after clips, courtesy of CG Channel. It took three months to animate, render and composite and cost 80,000 euro to make. Stephen St. Leger is a commercials and promos director. He is currently signed to H2 Films. |

La trama ruota attorno l’ossessiva ricerca di un criminale senza faccia né nome da parte di un agente della sicurezza nazionale: unico indizio, due parole in un taccuino (P-R-E-Y A-L-O-N-E) ed un testimone poco propenso a collaborare. Jonathan Ridge (alias Jonny 3D) si è occupato di animazione 3D e composizione. Il cast include: Ger Carey, Andy Moore e Kurt Savage. L’unica cosa reale sono gli attori ed alcuni oggetti sul set. Animazione, render e composizione hanno richiesto tre mesi, per un costo complessivo di 80,000 euro. Stephen St. Leger è un regista di spot e video musicali. Attualmente lavora presso H2 Films. |
