Wiz is a pretty legendary promo director in the UK; His video for Flowered Up’s track Weekender really pushed the boundaries of the music video. There’s a pretty complete videography of his work here http://www.mvdbase.com/tech.php?last=Wiz
Thanks. The link was already included in the post. My doubt was more about WIZ being an individual or a group of persons.
I don’t think that’s WWI. I think it’s probably the Crimean War maybe, or a reference to Charge of the Light Brigade
Yes, I think you’re right, but I remember I read it somewhere. I just forgot to name my source.
Well, I’ll fix it when I’ll know for sure.
Oops, sorry, didn’t notice the link to MVDbase. Theres a link here to the Flowered Up video I mentioned; definately worth checking out.

Thanks a lot! This wasn’t up on Factory Films.
Wow! It’s 16 minutes long? I think I’ll love it…
Thanks again. Great great stuff.
I’ve just made a post about it on Ticklebooth.
Thanks for giving that video the extra recognition it deserves; also hadn’t got round to checking out Ticklebooth before, and it looks like theres a hell of a lot of fun stuff on there!
Thank to you.
It seems a good samaritan posted an extensive bio with links on Videoville:
http://www.videoville.org/wiki/index.php/W.I.Z.
The video is set during the Crimean War (1853-1856), the same period referred to by Iron Maiden’s The Trooper
Grazie mille, aggiorno il post.

I want that Suede concert video – the full version that was shown on MTV (I think). Not the edited version they put out on VHS. Any clues?
This guy has a 85 min. DVD in his “list”:

Don’t know if it’s what you’re searching for.
