So, the Mona Lisa becomes the Nude Descending a Staircase No. 2 by Marcel Duchamp, and so on until the circle is closed coming back to the masterpiece of Leonardo. Note that the Mona Lisa also appear in the middle of the short, with goatee and mustache, referring to the parody did in 1919, again by Duchamp.

Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase won the Academy Award in 1993 for the best short animated film. Thanks to Cristian Contini that showed us the new frontier.

Così, la Monna Lisa diventa il Nudo che scende una scala No. 2 di Marcel Duchamp, e così via fino a chiudere il cerchio tornando al capolavoro di Leonardo. Da notare che la Monna Lisa appare anche a metà del corto, con barba e baffi, citazione della parodia che ne fece, nel 1919, ancora Marcel Duchamp.

Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase ha vinto il premio Oscar nel 1993 come miglior corto animato. Si ringrazia Cristian Contini per averci mostrato la nuova frontiera.
