Crazily… This strong, emotional, clip is part of the Directions project, a series of 11 (or 12?) new music videos for each one of the song included in the latest album by Death Cab for Cutie, Plans. The project is developed by Otaku House. Death Cab for Cutie is the indie band begun as the solo project of Ben Gibbard. Then, he recruited Christopher Walla, as an electric guitarist, and Nicholas Harmer on bass. After a few changes, the drums are now played by Jason McGerr. The band takes its name from a satirical song performed by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band on their 1967 album Gorilla. The song was also performed in a striptease act in The Beatles’s film Magical Mystery Tour. senti, giacché siamo alle pignolerie, ecco l’unica altra cosa che fatico sempre a digerire: l’uso dell’apostrofe al posto degli accenti…
lo so, sarà una mia fissazione, ma su un blog di tale discernimento, e’≠è, ecc.

Eh, lo so… Ma e’ piu’ forte di me. Cmq faro un (altro) tentativo…
Il fatto e’ che vengo dai newsgroup, e questa abitudine ce l’avevo proprio per non sfavorire gli utenti Mac che in genere vedevano tutt’altri simboli quando usavo caratteri non ASCII.
(Usare l’accento, oltre che impraticabile visto che non e’ previsto nel layout di tastiera standard, aveva cmq effetti strani su alcuni newsreader)
Quindi uso umlaut e accenti circonflessi, ma continuo ad apostrofare la e…
