Mission accomplished!
| Techno-Colony, the gigantic computerized city is under threat from the Bio Bugs. The survival of the colony depends on the cleaner-robot squads.
The short animated movie by Yann Couderc and Xavier Henry follow the point of view of one of the pilots. It is, in fact, a Ride film (or Dynamic Cinema) developed as an attraction for Futuroscope, that also produced the clip with Cube, Virtuosity and Le Comptoir Du Son. In a Dynamic Cinema, the seats are moved by hydraulic jacks that realistically mimic the sensation of speed, synchronised with the image and special effects. So: just use your fantasy… This is the follow up to Akryls, a movie realized in 2002 by Yann Couderc and Xavier Henry with Bruno Hajnal as the final project at Supinfocom. Note that Supinfocom developed on his own a follow up (or at least a movie based on the same idea) to Akryls called Yu. |
Techno-Colony, la gigantesca citta’ computerizzata e’ sotto la minaccia dei Bio Bugs. La sopravvivenza della colonia dipende dalle robosquadre pulitrici.
Il corto animato di Yann Couderc e Xavier Henry segue il punto di vista di uno dei piloti. In effetti, si tratta di un Ride film (o Cinema Dinamico) sviluppato come un’attrazione per Futuroscope, che ha anche prodotto il video insieme a Cube, Virtuosity e Le Comptoir Du Son. In un Cinema Dinamico, i sediolini sono mossi da pompe idrauliche che imitano realisticamente la sensazione di velocita’ in sicronia con le immagini. Quindi: metteteci un po’ di fantasia… Questo e’ il seguito di Akryls, film realizzato nel 2002 da Yann Couderc e Xavier Henry con Bruno Hajnal come progetto finale alla Supinfocom. Segnalo che Supinfocom ha sviluppato un suo seguito (quanto meno un film basato su questa idea) ad Akryls chiamato Yu. |
